POST 3: MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

As you can imagine, my favorite a piece of technology is not just the iPad. Although it has helped me to give my classes because I have all my course books with me in the same place and I just need to connect to the data show to project the class book and material for the lessons. Some years ago, I had to carry the books which was very uncomfortable, and depending of the books, it was a heavy load. The good thing of iPads is we can connect them to the wi-fi everywhere we are, they are light, easy to carry in your bags and you can store lots of information. Unfortunately, they are very expensive!!  However, there are tons of machines that are technology as well as the mechanisms in the photo. What about you?? Today I invite you to write about your favourite  piece of technology.

POST 2: Why did you choose this career/study programme?

Hullo everyone!, today you'll have to write about the reasons you had to choose Psychology as your present career. I chose English because I was good at languages at high school but I found that English was just a part of my studies, I had to study literature and linguistics, areas that complemented the language studies. Of course I always wanted to be a teacher, so there were so many different reasons to choose English Teaching as my career. I wanted to understand the literature written in English from the original texts, not the translations. Besides, I used to listen to classic rock bands and they were an inspiration, a kind of challenge for me to understand the lyrics, what they said in the interviews.

POST 1:My autobiography

Welcome to the Blog Sessions!! This is your first post of this semester and today you have to write your auto biography.

I was born in Santiago, at Hospital Barros Luco, San Miguel, on September 21st, many years ago... I studied at the República de Siria School, Liceo 7 both in Ñuñoa. I followed my studies in  English Literature and Linguistics at the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, Universidad de Chile, in Ñuñoa as well. I have 3 sisters. My hobbies are very different, I like reading novels, cycling, learning languages, going to the gym, going to exhibitions, buying music, for example, special box sets of my favorite bands.  I have been working at the University of Chile for 10 years and at USACH for 7 and I like my students, they are very creative and good at English!!
